"It is the economy stupid!"

People asked themselves...."am I better off today than I was 8, or even 4, years ago. The answer for most was NO!

Under Bush and the gang of criminals in his administration the economy has been destroyed. We went from a $5 Trillion national debt to almost $10 Trillion. Large business were raped and plundered by their CEO's and then those individuals were rewarded by huge bonus packages. They prospered while millions of Americans saw their life savings, jobs and homes evaporate. Yet...none of those responsible has actually been placed on trial.

The infrastructure of this nation is in ruins. Our military is streatched to the breaking point. The military now has to give tutored coursed in basic english and math to qualify people for enlistment. 40% of all high school seniors failed to graduate last year. We are in an unending war in Iraq (we should have focused only on Afghanistan)brought to us by many of the same civilians involved in Vietnam and the war is managed Vietnam style. There is no "light at the end of the tunnel."

A few months ago McCain stated that we would be in Iraq until 20012. How convenient..another election year! He also stated that he would capture Bin Laden. If he knows how..perhaps he should share that with the current administration. But, we all know McCain is full of hot air. McCain violated the UCMJ by telling the North Vietnamese the name of his ship, his squadron and their targets. There are pictures of McCain embracing Colonel Bui, a man who tortured and murdered American POWs, and McCain has the idiocy to worry about a 1960's, over the hill terrorist. McCain let his little head do the thinking for his big head (as he has often done) by picking Palin as his running mate. After the "fluff-factor" wore off it was discovered that she is and empty blouse. Devoid of any real ideas, no experience at foreign policy and not even able to influence her own daughter to keep her legs together.

There is a $700 Billion bailout for Wall Street. Perhaps $200 Billion should have been put in, and locked, Social security. Another $100 Billion into healthcare, $100 Billion into education. The final $300 Billion into creating a "TVA" type administration to put people to work rebuilding the fractured infrastructe of this nation. People with jobs spend money and that is enough to revive the economy.

Saddam was a dictator and did not want Al Queida in Iraq. They were a threat to his one man rule. So...Bush removed him and in so doing removed the only viable counter-weight to Iran. How stupid was that. If the Shiite had fought Saddam half as hard as they are fighting us...he would have been removed decades ago. Instead, we created a monster that has grown and not diminished. We have even had to re-arm the Sunnis to counter them. The answer is to divide Iraq into 3 nations. One Sunni, one Shiite and the 3rd Kurd. Re-deploy our troops and finish Afghanistan.

Bush and the Republicans have totally destroyed this nation and made the USA the pariah of the world.
